Before going for the TUT let me inform what are new in updates
The thing which i love in this update is they had included video codecs like H.265(HEVC) ,VP8,THEORA,MPEG- 2 which is really cool
Here is the Guide :)
1st of All
open the application
IF u want to make a rip from a DVD
select folder
If u want to make rip from a file
Select file
Best Resolution For making Rips from either Blu-Ray Discs or DVD
1CD : 640X272
480P : 852 × 362
720P : 1280 X 544
1080P :1920 X 816
In this guide im gng to show Encoding a movie in 1080p
MY Advise always set Anarmophic to None and set the Mod value as 16
I am gonna set the Resolution as 1920 x 816
Do not make any changes in Filter Tab
now in video Tab
In this Tut i am gonna use the codec H.264(X264)
Always set the fps as Same as source ...its my Advise and select constant FrameRate
x264 preset Always set this preset to slower or slow since you can bear better quality and small size .My advise don't set to Medium ..You can't get the quality as you are getting in slow or slower Presets
x264 Tune set as None
H.264 Profile Set as high
H.264 level set to 4.1

Here
The lower the value you set will result in Higher quality and bigger file sizes
The higher the value You set will result in some quality loss and small size
suggested values
18 to 20 for standard definitions
20 to 23 for High Defenition
MY Advise use Avg Bitrate for Making 1cd Rips since to get the file size in 700 MB
Remember One thing higher the bitrate will result in high quality
Now,Audio
In this if u want untouched Audio for DVD Set the codec as AC3 Passthru
for DTS set as DTS Passthru
for DTS HD MA SET AS DTS-HD Passthru
Meanwhile,
if u want Ac3 Audio but u want to reduce the size Means
Reduce the bit rate
The lesser the bit rate will result in small size
Finally for subtitles
just click on ADD TRACK.... if you don't have subs but if u have SRT file means click on Import SRT and add the file
Browse where you want to save the file
And finally click on start to start the encode
